Freedom is being wildly true to your joy and what lights you up inside.
I’ve spent my whole life wanting to feel free. I remember as a child wanting to question every rule and guideline that was presented to me as what I “should” follow. I often thought if I did the opposite then that would help me feel free (PS - this strategy did not work). I used to think that freedom was a goal you eventually reach but I’ve learned that this couldn’t be further from the truth. Freedom is being wildly true to your joy and what lights you up inside. Freedom is not a destination…it is a vibration and it takes getting honest and real with who you are and what you want. When you begin to unravel the conditioning and get to the TRUE YOU, that’s freedom.
Prior to my spiritual awakening when I turned 39, I sought the feeling of freedom outside of myself through destructive ways such as partying too hard, reactive ways such as frustration with others (spoiler alert: it was me I was frustrated with), and numbing ways such as distracting myself by watching too much TV. All of these actions only served to bring me further away from myself and I spiraled downward into a fog of simply “existing,” which led to years of battling health and hormone issues. Maybe I was secretly hoping someone was coming to save me. When I had a sudden awakening I realized I had created a life while asleep and according to someone else’s rules. I knew everything had to change and it was the darkest of times.
I left a marriage, became a single mom and started to rebuild while getting to know myself at the soul level for the first time. I did a deep dive into who I am in terms of energy and how my energy interacts with the world. I then began playing with the Universal Energy Laws so that they worked for me rather than against me. Over time and with aligned action, this awareness created an entire life shift to heart energy and flow. Part of my awareness was understanding that I carry the color purple in my auric field. I discovered that purple emits the frequency of freedom and part of my soul mission is to help others who carry purple to find freedom in a healthy, constructive way.
I waited a long time for someone else to give me permission to change my life when I felt unhappy and trapped, not realizing that I alone held the power to free myself all along.
This is a beautiful representation of how perfect our Universe is as I reflect on how our outer world mirrors our inner world. Our galactic friends are here to help guide us but they are not here to save us. That, my beautiful friends, is a choice that we all must make on our own. After the fall of Lemuria, there was a false lower vibrational energy grid placed over earth, keeping her imprisoned, and it is time for it to crumble. Walk with me on this journey and I will help you see through the illusions of fear on earth for what they are: imaginary rules restricting us from being our true high vibrational beings of pure light and unconditional love. We can each choose this path of light and join Gaia.
It takes bravely stepping into the unknown with surrender to follow your heart and your soul’s calling without knowing what comes next.
